Introduction

We process your personal data to manage our customer relationship with you and to fulfill the assignment you have provided to us. The information is used to identify you as a customer, in preparation and administration before entering into an agreement and for the purpose of taking out the insurance you have chosen, to investigate your requirements and needs for insurance and to document the insurance distribution we perform.

Processing of data also takes place when Allina Försäkringar contacts you and informs you about changes in rules or conditions, insurance terms, products and services etc. that are related to our assignment for you. Processing of personal data also takes place when you as a customer electronically receive information from Allina Försäkringar, for example via text message, e-mail or via login to the customer portal.

We process your personal data in order to improve our products, services and systems by conducting analyses and compiling statistics.

The legal basis for processing is partly to fulfill the agreement entered into with you as a customer, and partly to fulfill legal obligations we have under, for example, the Insurance Distribution Act.

Processing of personal data also takes place when you as a representative electronically receive information from Allina Försäkringar, for example via text message, e-mail or via login to the customer portal.

We obtain information about you from various sources.

We collect information about you as a customer from yourself when you become a customer and when you receive advice on insurance. Retrieval also takes place when you sign up for a product or service through us, that you contact us or when you use one of our digital channels (such as e-mail, customer portal and electronic signing).

In order to maintain good customer and registry care, Allina Försäkringar may supplement personal data by obtaining information from private and public registers.

In order to comply with legal obligations, Allina Försäkringar may combine your personal data against sanction lists to carry out checks.

We also collect information from other actors, such as insurance companies and partners, to the extent necessary to help you take out insurance. Such information is only collected to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of our assignment.

Parties that Allina Försäkringar shares information with

Allina Försäkringar shares information with partners, such as insurance companies, when you sign up for a product or service through us. In these cases, Allina Försäkringar and our partner are both data controllers and you will, in addition to the information you receive from us, also receive information from the party you have chosen to sign an agreement with.

Data may also be shared with certain service providers to Allina Försäkringar, such as system suppliers and cloud service providers. In these cases, the service provider acts on our instructions and may not use the data for its own purposes.

We may also share personal data with authorities, including law enforcement authorities, where we are required to do so. Such processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations.

Allina Försäkringar may also share information with potential buyers and sellers if the business were to be sold or merged with another company. Such processing is necessary to satisfy our legitimate interest in carrying out the divestiture or merger.

The processing that Allina Försäkringar performs takes place within the EU/EEA. In cases where Allina Försäkringar or a service provider to Allina Försäkringar would transfer your personal data to a country outside the EU/EEA, Allina Försäkringar ensures that there are safeguards in place.

Your personal data will be stored as long as you are a customer of Allina Försäkringar and also after your agreement is terminated, to the extent required by law. Under certain circumstances and if technically possible, you have the right to receive the personal data registered about you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transfer this data to another party.

Deletion

Under certain circumstances, you have the right to have the information registered about you deleted. However, this does not apply if Allina Försäkringar is obliged to retain the data by law.
